I found my problem in loadlin.cfg.
startup\boot\mulinuz
no387
root=/dev/hda1
rw
# kernel parameters
vga=normal
ramdisk_size=4600
As I said initially, I had to add a second hard drive "D".
I simply changed /dev/hda1 to hdb1 and now it boots.
Next to "muddle through" the configuration.
I read all instructions and messages and appreciated the help.
