Here is some more info:
I loaded boot, ext, and X11, unpacked X11, and copied the misc.o and
psaux.o to /tmp/module/preferred/misc. I then ran setup port and got
the error "unable to get major 10 for misc devices. Initialization of
psaux failed".
BTW, there isn't a misc.o or psaux.o under /usr/local/modules, so X11 is
necessary. (I'm guessing)
