I was the one who started the thread. The misc/misc.o and misc/psaux.o not
loading at startup was part of the problem, but it might go deeper. I tried
loading 6r2 and the /old/X11 module, and it failed. Loading 6r2 and the
/addon/X11 also failed. But loading 5r7 and the /old/X11 works fine. I
didn't try the 5r7 and /addon/X11 because I got it to work.

I'd like to upgrade to 6r2 and add EXT, but I'm not sure how to begin. Any
help would be appreciated.
