GStreamer Integration
I think it would be interesting to integrate DistWork with GStreamer. One could implement a layer that chunks up e.g. raw video/audio streams and distributes the chunks to different hosts for compression or general processing.
Code distribution
Dynamically distribute Scheme code (which can be executed in a safe environment). This could be used for example for a Scheme program to "outsource" some of its CPU-hungry components.
