I think not without considerable work. I know you will have to upgrade
your modules as well, plus you will probably not have room in the base
floppy so will have to move files around. How much ram and what CPU are
you going to be using and do you have other linux development machine?
The libc library would probably want to be updated, which means much more
code to find room for.
May I ask what you are want to do with the updated Mulinux?
I may be able to suggest an alternative distrobution.
