video chip they say is a :Western Digital WD90C24A

WD 90C24A or 90C24A2 (laptop) .......................... XF86_SVGA
so it's should be support in that latest xfree x server, you need
to do some diggin on google/deja with this information.
what version is mulinux's x server at these days?
