Michele, have you compiled it for libc5? Note that although there may
only be English voices distributed with flite at the moment, there is an
associated toolkit for building your own voices in any language. I'm
not certain whether you can use the mbrola voices inside flite. You can
with the full Festival system (fheavy?) at
http://www.cstr.ed.ac.uk/projects/festival/ and also available from CMU.
