I checked: the stupid string "Unknown compressor" gets out also
if file is simply not found, ad default string.
Please, test the floppy addon with:
# bzip2 -t /dev/fd0H1722

Usually, "setup -f XYZ" does the work for a floppy addon.
But you can also load from a file:
setup -f XYZ from=/path/where/is/XYZ.tgz
