The frequency is still 110 Hz, i.e. 1/4 of 440Hz, which is LA central.
So, the sound is four octave under the LA central. Please, check with
a diapason and report :-)

The release # is in the BOOT section (in the file startup/boot/info).
This archive is NOT used by 'upgrade', so version number is the same.
Indeed, the file /etc/version is generated on the fly from boot/info.

For example: I changed the dhcpcd client:

The new is:

-rwx------ 1 root root 26092 Jan 4 13:48 dhcpcd

The old was:

-rwx------ 1 root root 24772 Mar 16 1999 dhcpcd

Please, check.

I also changed the file /etc/rc/auto-swap. Please, check the
difference:

                diff -u /etc/rc/auto-swap /mnt/old/etc/rc/auto-swap

No changes in the X11.

Remember: 11r4 contains only minor changes.
Version number is not cabled in ROOT or USR, but in BOOT (not used).

Ok, I will modify Setup in this way: it will put the version number
in any generated /setup/cnf/*.cnf.
