Manually, sorry. The emails are in /var/spool/mail/root.
To handle a second floppy-disk, while muLinux handle the startup disk
with evident difficulty, may produce further confusion.
You can
# mount /dev/fd0 /a -t msdos
# cp /var/spool/mail/root /a
# umount /a
