I have no experience with the opti 929, but I do use an opti 931.
To get this card working I had to install the DOS drivers which contain
usable settings for MuLinux, as it seems that Linux needs some settings
to read to get this card initialized....
To find DOS drivers for the 929 card I looked starting from
"http://www.winfiles.com" and chased the windows drivers links....
