Webpack Install withe wine, was: Re: [oc] linux xilinx webpack programming

Hallo,

to the one noticing the stall during webpack install with wine: 
probably some messagebox was hidden below some other, waiting for a click
"ok" that you never did, as you never noticed.

Try again and look harder...

If wine drops into the debugger, click quit to continue.

If you somehow manage to complete the installation of webpack 5.2, make sure
you set  
[AppDefaults\\ise.exe\\Version]
"Windows" = "winxp"
or ("winnt" or "win2k") orotherwise ise will hang during startup, just like
it does after a successfull install on win98.

Some things run better with the corresponding winxp msvcrt, which can be
found in the webpack installation package.

Otherwise I gave more hints on the wine-devel@winehq.com list and in
comp.emulators.ms-windows.wine and comp.arch.fpga. It's getting tedious to
repeat all over. You're welcome to ask specific questions.
