Re: [oc] Reed-Solomon Viterbi
Hi Yudha,
I have a lot of experience with this kind of cores (Reed-Solomon) I have
done much work in the field that sadly I can't publish yet. But I am sure I can
help with the design if you want.
In any case a very popular Reed-Solomon core uses (256,236) it is better if you
aim at something like that. You wouldn't mind the larger core as it is almost
the same design just bigger. And it would be useful to many hot applications.
I would be glad to help you in the design if you send me your thoughts and I can
comment.

Subject: [oc] Reed-Solomon Viterbi
Hi, we're students of ITB Indonesia majoring in electrical engineering.
We are interested in developing Reed Solomon Decoder .
Here are the specifications that We'd like to propose :
n = 15
k = 9
t = 6
Or perhaps someone has any idea for better specifications ?
We're a team in ASIC lesson with three members :
* Ibrahim Budiarjo
* Yudha Pratomo
* Erik P Kamal
Hopefully we receive your response asap.
Thank you.
