As I was reading this article, and especially the bit about Blue Gene, IBM's next gen supercomputer, I couldn't help but notice similiraties in the design philosophy with some of the ideas shared and discussed on this list : to make it simple, Blue Gene will be using a lot (a million) of small identical processors, all doing their own little small thing, etc.
