ofbis   framebuffer library for linux
jifview GIF viewer using ofbis by James Troup (withdrawn due to GIF patent problems)

Be careful with which version of oFBis that you use with which program
because the behaviour of oFBis has changed quite dramatically between
its version, and using the wrong version could most likely hang your
computer.

Also a note to oFBis programmers, write in a README file or such
exactly which version of oFBis you ahve used with it.
