1. Introduction

This document is an extract of the opiedev_doc page http://www.uv-ac.de/opiedev/opiedev.html.

It describes the usage of my Opie Development LiveCD. The above document gives hints to the opie development itself and how to generate this LiveCD.

The first shot of this document will be a very short one. I need some feedback to describe the problems which occur using the CD, if others and other distributions use this CD.

You can either follow the hints on my docpage ( see here) to create your own CD image, or you download the iso image from handhelds.org ( see here).

Since Version 0.2.7 the user has to download single parts of the iso image and compose the image himself. This allows me to add / remove / actualize parts of the CD without uploading the CDs image totally to hh.org always. How to work with that see here).

1.9 Known Bugs

This chapter describes the known bugs. They will be fixed in the next iso image (if fixable).

• sharp compiler : arm-linux-cpp link missing
  This link is required, when kdevelop wants to compile.
• root password authentication wrong during prep script call, original link is not reseted
  This will be solved via a multiple chance.
• check whether bash is used - hint if not
  
• Knopper cloop link is closed due to European Software Patents
