Add the following, and then delete the empty Clauses 12.3 - 12.6.
12.0 Clause Numbering
Within this clause, the first subclause number refers back to the
relevant primary clause within this standard that provides corresponding
specifications for copper based operation.  For example,
in 12.7, Station Attachment Specifications, the .7 provides
reference that clause 7 of the Token Ring standard specifies the
requirements for station attachment.

In 12.7.2.4, first paragraph, change "... specified in 7..." to
"...specified in clause 7..."

Make the following changes for consistency within the document and
with the 8802-5 Standard:

Correct inconsistent spelling and make "Fibreoptic" two words throughout
the document.

For consistency, use "clause" rather than "section" throughout the
document.

Since this document does not specify a required mechanical interface,
change the Scope statement in 1.1 from:
"This section specifies the functional, electrical, optical, and
mechanical characteristics of a fibre optic"
               to
"This section specifies the functional, electrical and optical
characteristics of a fibre optic"

Correct minor error in 12.A.2.  For consistency with the table being
referred to, change
"gives the physical parameters of three other acceptable optical fibres."
                 to
"gives the physical parameters of two other acceptable optical fibres."

For consistency with the Base Standard, change the following:
From main clause number 12 to Main Clause number 13
 (Clause 12 is used by 802.5r).
Example: 12.2 will become 13.2, 12.7 will become 13.7.

To better tie in the standard requirements with IS11801, call out the
cabling terminations specified in that standard.  Since use of them
is not required, this is an editorial change and not a technical change.
Specifically Add the following clause after 12.7.2.7:

12.7.2.8  Attachment to Generic Cabling

ISO/IEC 11801:1995 specifies a generic fibre optic cabling infrastructure
that may be used for interconnecting devices as specified in this
international standard.  The primary specified fibre optic interface as
specified in ISO/IEC 11801 is the duplex SC (SC-D) connector.  Patch
cords terminated in the appropriate connector type are required to
connect to established cabling systems.
