RE: [video] DVI Decoding/Encoding
Hello and Hi Mark,
You could use chips from SiliconImage to do dvi decode and encode.
With best regards,

Subject: [video] DVI Decoding/Encoding
Hi
I have an application for a DVI fader.
I need to take the DVI output from a video card, and fade the R,G,B
components to black under USB control. To achieve this, I need:
1) A DVI Decoder.
2) 3 8 x 8 multipliers.
3) A DVI Encoder.
Part 2 is pretty easy - I already have an FPGA design that does this.
Part 3 would appear to be covered by the current OpenCores DVI Encoder
project. How's this going?
Any ideas on part 1? Looking at the DVI spec, it's pretty tricky -
phase-locked 8 x clocks, etc...
Thanks
Mark
