They can, but don't want...
Some time ago, IBM decided that the OpenPPC market was not a good investlent
and that designing a "mdern" northbridge would be wasting money. That's sad,
but that's life...

I did not have time to look at the chips you sent as attachment, but I think
these are not modern enough for a decent G4 implementation. Correct me if I
am wrong.
