Partitioning
a Configured Array
Warning:
Data will be lost after partitioning a configured array. Be sure to copy any
necessary data before process.
Step 1: Select
a logical drive you want to partition. Move your cursor to the Logical
Drives window. Right-click to display the edit mode
command menu.
Step 2: Select Edit Parition from the menu.
Step 3: The partition Edit mode window displays.
Step 4: If the array has not been partitioned, all of its capacity appears as
one single partition. Single click to select the partition (the color bar).
Step 5: Right click or select the Edit command
to display the Add Partition command. Click to proceed.
Step 6: The Partition Size window displays. Enter the desired
capacity and press OK to proceed.
Step 7: Shown below is a capacity partitioned into two. Each partition is displayed
in a different color. Repeat the above process or single-click to view its information.
The arrow buttons help you travel from one partition to another.
Repeat the process if you want to create more partitions out of an array.
