This is an updated version of filesys-pl4-newer for Linux/m68k 2.0.x with initrd. Notes: - Don't forget to add `root=/dev/ram' to the kernel command line. - Replaced a.out binaries by ELF binaries. - Additional misc binaries: dd, ldconfig, mv, rmdir. - Basic networking: ifconfig, route, ping, tftp. - Updated /dev using watchtower-2, but I removed the Atari-specific frame buffer device nodes. - Shared libraries: o ld-linux.so.1.7.14 o libc.so.5.3.12 o libcom_err.so.2.0 o libext2fs.so.2.1 o libm.so.5.0.6 o libtermcap.so.2.0.8 o libuuid.so.1.0 - The file system is in standard (little endian) ext2fs format. Make sure you applied the patches to support initrd with this ext2fs, i.e. use a kernel newer than 2.0.18. - The ext2fs tools are from e2fsprogs-1.05. - The size of the ramdisk increased from 1400K to 1800K, while the gzipped image is 730K large. - There's no need to decompress this ramdisk image. The kernel will do this automagically.
