Hello, I am new to this list. I searched the archives but I
could not find any informtion. Anyway I want to clone
mulinux to /dev/hda7. However when I boot up the floppy it
does not list /dev/hda7 as an option for a partition to
clone to. It seems that it does not realize that /dev/hda4
is my extened partition. It lists it as an unknown
    partition type.

I also tried to copy the files from my UMSDOS clone to the
partiton and boot the kernel, but I get a Kernel Panic
cannot mount root filesystem. If anyone has successfully
done this, and can tell me what I am missing, lemme know.
Also I normally use the grub boot loader, but if I need to
put lilo on a floppy I can do that too.
