True. The same error on my Win98.
I cannot solve. This passwd interfaces with some Windows API.

Nevertless, it work on modern Win*
You can say "n" at the prompt.

I just added also "gnupg". I wish to use it in order
to explain cryptography to my students.
I'm also preparing a litte Unix Course (in italian) for my
students.

You will find also a simple editor (nano.exe),with curses interface.
