i have a rather stupid question

in my previous version of mulinux (v10) i could fill in my network adress
and my my broadcastadress. with setup -f eth0

in release 12, there is no possiblility left.

If i change the settings manualy the computer tells me thatb the network is
unreachable.

i have tried to edit /setup/cnf/eth.cnf and added the extra lines, wich
worked properly with setup -f eth0, but after running my networkadress was
again 62.238.0.0 while it must be 62.238.64.0. idem the broadcast adress:
it is now 62.238.255.255 while it must be 62.238.95.255

also tried with ifconfig netmask ..... eth0 was half sucsessfull,

what is the correct order for manual editing ? is it possible to change the
settings in rc.local if nothing else works ?

first :ipsettings
second :route
third :standard gateway ?

this is my ip and working fine under MUv10 ip 62.238.95.192 subnetmask
255.255.224.0 networkadress 62.238.64.0 and broadcastadress 62.238.95.255
my standard gateway is 62.238.95.254

can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

another great fan of MULINUX !
