This is only an example of that I used to call "perfect oppositional systems".
My best example, almost a paradigm, is the "users vs sys-admin" oppositional
system. For the the users, the best machine is a full interconnected,
password-less open-machine; for the paranoid sys-admin, the best is a
switched-off one: the most secure and reliable environment in the world :-)

In the past, when working in a big company in the North-Italy, I experienced
many times this schizophrenia.
