Well I got the apmd and made a little script that i call when the
battery is low, the script is really simple it only uses
echo -e "$BRIGHT$BLINK$RED Warning, battery life low, auto-
shutdown in 5 minutes" 1>/dev/tty1
that line is is repeated for every known console (and I don't have
any telnet or anything like that running on my laptop when "oon the
road" . So I'm quite happy whit this, but still this is untested (I'm
not sure if the apmd launches the script in time)
