miterm [-s speed] [-l line] [-e escape-char]

For example:
                # miterm -l /dev/ttyS1

After connection with modem, you can issue standard AT* command.
Try for example "ATZ". You can call with:;
                atdtxyz

whre xyz is the tel number.
