C'est tout simple
You have to recompile the kernel to add the DOC support (no module support)
Download the patch for kernel 2.0.x from http://www.m-sys.com and follow the
instructions
The patch is for kernel 2.0.35 but it applies to 2.0.36 and seems to work
fine.
