I successuf added on the TEX floppy the famous Lyx word
processor for LaTex based document!

-- from Lyx man-page ---
LyX is a modern approach of writing documents with a com-
       puter which breaks with the tradition of the obsolete
       typewriter concept. It is designed for people who wants a
       professional output with a minimum of time effort, without
       becoming specialists in typesetting. Compared to common
       word processors, LyX will increase the productivity a lot,
       since most of the typesetting will be done by the com-
       puter, not the author. With LyX the author can concentrate
       on the contents of his writing, since the computer will
       take care of the look. Read more about this concept in the
       online documentation under the Help menu.

Please, do not ask me now a such miracle happened: a single miserable
floppy disk which allow to handle with:

                - .lyx files
                - lyx -> tex files
                - tex -> dvi files
                - dvi -> ps files

Using Lyx, you can easily to typeset mathematical formulas,
previewing the dvi form using File/xdvi, transforming the lyx source
in tex source, and the tex source in postscript format, suitable
for printing.

I will silenty upgrade the TEX.tgz file now. If you have the
basic archive for 8r0, you can download only the new addon.

This isn't a giant 1st of April joke, but be aware: I will prepare
one for you soon.

I'd like to conclude with a positive statement, but I can't
remember any. Would two negative ones do? -- Woody Allen
