D:\kits\mulinux would more likely be /dev/hdb/kits/mulinux. The standard
microsoft drive order /linux comparison is:
A: /dev/fd0
B: /dev/fd1
C: /dev/hda
D: /dev/hdb
E: /dev/hdc
F: /dev/hdd
for a two-floppy (standard to have two spaces, even on one controller),
two ide-controller computer.
