It's not that easy. I didn't send "ppp". It was automatically assigned
on dial-up server.

Password _is_ required. I cut it out.
The question is: why sometimes were characters missing and why
were those I typed sometimes doubled?
I have got 14.4 Kb modem, Cx486DLC, 8 MB RAM, muLinux 4.1
with X Window.
Hope you have ideas.
