Exact, K-H! The installer-kernel (perfect mirror of the mu-kernel) is
an absurd. Another kernel (coming from other major distribution
installer disks: Debian, Redhat, etc.), inclusive of SCSI support,
is OK, with few notes:

        1) remove "no387" from loadlin.cfg (companion of install.bat)
        2) check if this installer-kernel support UMSDOS file-system
initial-ramdisk and ramdisk in general. Slackware needed?

Moreover, this precompiled kernels are considerably bigger of
muLinux kernel: DOSTOOLS.zip grow :(

Any way, put this kernel in the scratch dir, between muLinux images,
and rename it "mulinuz". Then:

                c:> loadlin mulinuz initrd=ROOT.gz INFO=dosinstall

( no install.bat here, or You replace "mulinuz"!)

Ciao,
Michele

Mi sarebbe piaciuto concludere con un'affermazione positiva, ma
non me ne vengono in mente. Vanno bene due negative?
