The file transtech_driver.tar.gz contains Linux driver code for Transtech motherboards. Transtech is a company based in the UK that produces DSP boards based upon the Texas Instruments TMS320C40 digital signal processor. This driver has been proven to work under RedHat Linux 3.0.3, kernel version 2.0.0. HOW TO UNPACK THIS DRIVER 1. First, gunzip the file transtech_driver.tar.gz. 2. Expand the resulting tar file using the command: tar xvf transtech_driver.tar 3. A few directories will be created containing all of the code and a little documentation. Read the README file for help in making the I/O device, compiling the driver, and inserting it into the Linux kernel. All of these files were put together and downloaded to the LLP ftp site on Friday, February 14, 1997. Happy Valentine's Day!
