The ruby Feed

Add
   src ruby http://handhelds.org/feeds/ruby
to your /etc/ipkg.conf (when still using the (slow) script version of ipkg, put the line on top to get the most recent version of the packages that are also in familiar)

You probably want to install "ruby1.8-task", or "ruby", which in turn installs a few dependencies (base + network). If you want more of Ruby's standard libraries, install ruby1.8-large to get them all, or install what you need by hand. Other interesting packages are "irb1.8" and perhaps "erb1.8".

Additionally, "ruby-agenda" and "ruby-ipaq" would be interesting, iff several dependencies on ruby 1.8 had been worked out, yet. Besides, ruby-agenda contains a bug that causes you to loose appointments. ruby-ipaq installs a replacement for gtk-menu that is a tad slower, but uses a nicer font and survives screen-rotations. It also has a few applets to monitor battery, cpu and a clock. Click on them for fancy features.

Build Scripts

These packages were generated by build-ipkg.rb using this ./ipkg/package.cfg for configuring, making, installing and packaging.

This feed (page and the Packages file) was generated by build-overview.rb.

Actually, to complete the building of ext/socket/ I had to add const to the definition of gai_strerror() in addrinfo.h and getaddrinfo.c (as is in `man gai_strerror`). This is so small a change that I'm not building a source-file for it.
